Service and maintenance

When a drive fails, it matters that the service team knows the device and has the parts. As an authorised service partner of Danfoss Drives, Comsys and Sinexcel, we have our own engineers, measuring equipment and a stock of spare parts. We repair the device, and when a repair is not possible, we establish that and propose a replacement.

Maintenance

Three levels of maintenance

The earlier a change in condition is detected, the easier it is to schedule the work into a regular shutdown.

  1. Scheduled

    Preventive

Inspection, cleaning and replacement of worn parts before a breakdown.

  2. Before failure

    Predictive

Work is planned according to the measured condition of the equipment in operation.

  3. After failure

    Corrective

Diagnostics, repair and original parts; a replacement unit with a service contract.

CBM

Condition Based Monitoring: the basis of predictive maintenance

The drive and the plant record data during operation, with additional sensors on the motor where needed. A deviation from the usual pattern is reported as a warning, so the work can be planned into a regular shutdown. Which variables are monitored and how often is agreed with the customer for each drive.

Installed base assessment

Danfoss DrivePro® Site Assessment

Installed base management: inventory, life cycle and risk

In a plant with many drives it is hard to know which ones are critical and which no longer have parts available. Our engineer therefore inspects every drive on site and records its condition, criticality and life-cycle status. The result is a risk ranking per device and a replacement plan. Drives from other manufacturers can also be included, with a proposal for replacement with Danfoss series.

Three risk parameters

  1. 01

    Life cycle

Active, limited or inactive series at the manufacturer.

  2. 02

    Criticality

Consequences of a stoppage for production, the environment and safety.

  3. 03

    Equipment condition

Environment, dust, corrosion, cables and installation.

Scope of delivery

  • Installed base overviewStatus, criticality and condition of every drive.
  • Risk rankingSite report with proposed measures.
  • Replacement planSeries no longer serviced are replaced during a planned shutdown.
  • Engineer's recommendationOpportunities for greater reliability and efficiency.

The assessment provides an inventory and proposed measures; the replacements and repairs themselves are offered in a separate quotation.
