Over the past 7 years, Automatika i procesi d.o.o. has carried out a series of power quality measurements in Croatian industry. In addition to reactive power compensation and harmonics, voltage sags are one of the most common challenges faced by domestic manufacturers.
According to EN 50160, voltage sags are short-duration reductions in voltage below 90 % of the nominal value, typically lasting from 10 ms to 1 s. Voltage sags have a direct impact on downtime, production costs and productivity.
